Henderson sounds rally cry

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats star Kevin Henderson has refused to give in on a Super League play-off position at the end of the regular campaign.

The back-rower admits it will be tough to win a place in the top-eight, but he is adamant his team-mates can come up with the goods in the coming weeks.

However, with confidence at a low level following their horrific 50-6 home defeat to St Helens at the weekend, Henderson admits they need to turn the tables immediately.

Speaking to Yorkshire Evening Post, he said: "It is not over until the season has finished. We have got four more games. If we target three or four wins we will be in good shape and in with a good shot.

"We have to make sure we win a minimum of three of them and at best all four.

"At the moment we are going one way or another. We are either winning really well or losing really poorly.

"We need to sit down, regroup and see if we can figure out where we are going wrong. A lot of it comes down to attitude. Individually we need to work on it and fix it up.

"It is a team game and if we all do our job it will give the pivots more space and more time on the ball. If we aren't doing it collectively, it is turning out to be mission impossible at the moment."
