Awesome Wigan impress Agar

Hull coach Richard Agar was not too disheartened evan after his side had been outclassed 46-0 by Super League leaders Wigan Warriors at the KC Stadium on Friday evening.

The Black and Whites are in danger of missing out on a top-four finish but there were some mitigating factors for their heavy loss as they were without seven first-team players due to injury and suspension.

Agar said after watching Pat Richards score a hat-trick of tries for the Cherry and Whites: "I thought that we had some blokes that tried exceptionally hard and had some good games.

"I thought that in the first half the scoreline might have done us an injustice but ultimately we made elementary errors.

"We have to be a whole heap better than that. Wigan have done that to us and they've done it to a number of teams this year. They've got a ruthless streak to them."
